The Citan Panel Van: an urban hero.

The Citan is an urban delivery van with compact dimensions and a large load compartment perfectly suited for the multifarious challenges of the city.

Economically speaking, the Citan is profitable in any case: its efficient engines with BlueEFFICIENCY technology1 and fuel consumption rate starting at 4.3 l/100 km2, the high availability with long maintenance intervals3 and attractive terms and services4 will not stress your budget. And to make sure you get where you want to go, we've given the Citan ADAPTIVE ESP® valuable additional functions as well as all-round, powerfully gripping brakes.

Thanks to its comfortable seats, easy operation and finely tuned chassis with independent wheel suspension, the Citan drives very comfortably and with great agility through town – with the 6G-DCT dual-clutch transmission on request5. The Citan Panel Van: it knows what matters inside.

The Citan combines pleasure with utility: you'll enjoy working in its friendly interior. Functionality and comfort impress from the moment you get in until you get out, on all counts – from the pleasantly high seating position when driving to the low door and loading sills, which make loading much easier.

The comfortable driver's seat with back-friendly lateral support is breathable, hard-wearing and can be adjusted manually to the driver's needs, as can the height-adjustable steering wheel. All the controls are clearly laid out and easy to operate. The instrument cluster is easy to read and further enhances the vehicle interior. And the standard heating and ventilation system, as well as the practical stowage compartment concept make their own contribution towards a pleasant work atmosphere.

The Citan Panel Van: work is also fun at the wheel.

The strengths of the Citan will get you ahead in any job: you'll benefit from its compact versatility in constricted city traffic, and you'll fully enjoy its great tractive power on the road from town to town or on the motorway.

One of its torquey diesel engines, with outputs of 55 kW1 (75 hp), 66 kW2 (90 hp), 81 kW3 (110 hp) or its advanced petrol engine with its output of 84 kW4 (114 hp) is certain to suit your requirements profile. The innovative BlueEFFICIENCY technology5 reduces consumption and thereby enhances the economic efficiency of your company. Depending on the engine version, a 5 or 6-speed manual transmission is fitted that efficiently converts its driving power into traction. The optional 6G-DCT dual-clutch transmission6 combines the dynamic handling advantages of a manual transmission with the comfort of an automatic transmission system.

All the technical components are precisely attuned to one another – from the power steering and the springs/dampers setting of the suspension to the powerfully-gripping brakes. That means that you can always relax and enjoy the responsiveness of the Citan.

The Citan Panel Van: sure to pay off. Sooner and later.

Mercedes-Benz sees it as its duty to ensure that its design for the Citan, as with all other vehicles, helps shape the future of mobility in a responsible and sustainable way. In particular in city traffic, the Citan more than lives up to this billing. The state-of-the-art engines and innovative BlueEFFICIENCY technology5 keep CO2 emissions and consumption at a low level. And thus the Citan is a good example with consumption figures starting at 4.3 l/100 km1.
In terms of cost-effectiveness too, the Citan makes perfect sense. Not just on account of its attractive pricing but also due to its low running costs, which result from efficient fuel consumption and its lengthy maintenance intervals of up to 40,000 km.

Optimum availability of your vehicle is just as important to Mercedes-Benz Vans as it is to you. We underscore this point with the life-long Mercedes-Benz MobiloVan mobility guarantee7, 8. The Citan thus makes an important contribution to long-term and sustainable profitability. Journey after journey.

Advanced engines, electrically-assisted power steering and the shift point indicator are the basis for economically-efficient driving. The BlueEFFICIENCY package5 enables your vehicle to be even more efficient.

The Citan Panel Van: ready for any challenge.

The Citan masters everyday tasks with impressive flexibility. The Citan may not be able to take your work off you, but – depending on the sector – it can make it a lot easier to do. You will not be able to live without its intelligent load compartment concept and the low load sills. That's because easy loading and unloading are as much its strengths as the flexible utilisation of its high transport capacity is: up to 2 sliding doors and double-wing rear doors with an opening angle of as much as 180° provide superb access.

The Citan Panel Van: the first hero to be available in 3 lengths.

The Citan Panel Van will make a lot possible for you: a specialist in the sector, it's distinguished by its flexible applicability. You have the choice between the 3 body variants: compact, long and extra long. The maximum load compartment length of 2,137 mm in the extra long version can be optionally extended with the folding co-driver's seat to 2.937 mm. Together with the load compartment height of 1,258 mm, the Citan Panel Van provides up to 3.8 m3 cargo space. With a maximum payload of 768 kg, heavy cargo can also be accommodated. The large selection of optional equipment allows you to tune the Citan perfectly to your requirements.

The Citan Panel Van: big on safety.

The Citan is also way ahead when it comes to safety: with ADAPTIVE ESP®, Brake Assist and ABS anti-lock braking system as well as powerful brakes, it impresses with its short braking distances – even on wet roads. The independent suspension maintains contact with the road at all times. If you should have to drive on snow, slush, mud or sand, you can deactivate the ASR Acceleration Skid Control function.

If the worst should come to the worst, the three-point seat belts with belt tensioner and belt force limiters give excellent support. In the event of an emergency braking manoeuvre the hazard warning lights are activated.

And the Citan is equipped with driver airbag, daytime driving lights and Hill-Start Assist as standard. The optional co-driver airbag and thorax bags9 can additionally reduce the risk of injury in an accident. In addition, assistance systems such as the light and rain sensor, tyre pressure monitoring and a reversing camera with display in the rear-view mirror which shows the surroundings of the rear of the vehicle, are available as options.

In spite of the covetousness the Citan is sure to awaken, you can relax in the knowledge that your vehicle will never fall into the wrong hands thanks to the optional anti-theft alarm system.

The mobile marvel of space for urban travel.

Spacious panel van in 3 body lengths.

The Citan Panel Van impresses in all 3 possible body lengths with loads of cargo space and great flexibility through the optional ladder flap, for example. The cab can accommodate up to 3 people, depending on the variant.

The most important benefits of the Panel Van:

  • Multiple variants with the 3 body lengths compact, long and extra long for different cargo space requirements
  • Large load compartment capacity with up to 3.8 m³ in the extra long variant, with space for one Euro pallet1 either longitudinally or transversely with the body length compact, 2 Euro pallets transversely with the body lengths long and extra long
  • Space for up to 3 persons in the cab with the optional 2-seat passenger bench
  • High flexibility when loading – including oversized items – thanks to many optional extras, such as via the ladder flap or the folding co-driver seat

In combination with the optional superior interior trim, the width between the wheelhouses no longer suffices for a Euro pallet.

Brand-typical exterior design.

With its attractive design typical of Mercedes-Benz vans and the correspondingly high value appeal, the Citan impeccably carries the positive image of the other van model series into the small van segment. The all-round high level of precision in the original design of the Citan is particularly striking: the joints and surface offsets are precisely shaped to make a high-quality impression.

The 4 non-metallic paint finishes and the 6 optionally available metallic finishes underscore the dapper exterior. The optional Offroad Look package exterior, chrome exterior package and paint package further enhance the Citan's appearance.

* The stated figures were obtained in accordance with the prescribed measuring process. These are the "measured NEDC CO2 values" according to Article 2, No. 2 of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1152. Fuel consumption values have been calculated on this basis. As a result of statutory changes to crucial test methods, higher figures may have been entered in the vehicle's certificate of conformity, a document relevant to vehicle registration and vehicle tax. The figures do not apply to a specific vehicle and do not form part of the product offer; they are provided solely for the purpose of comparing different vehicle models.

Further information on the official fuel consumption and the official, specific CO2 emissions for new passenger cars can be found in the publication "Leitfaden über den Kraftstoffverbrauch, die CO2-Emissionen und den Stromverbrauch neuer Personenkraftwagen" ["Guidelines concerning the fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and electricity consumption of new passenger cars"], available free of charge from all showrooms and from the Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (www.dat.de) .
