Driving dynamics & economy. For lasting driving pleasure.

High-torque and economic consumption.

The engine range for the Citan is made up of a 4-cylinder petrol and a 4-cylinder diesel engine with 3 performance versions. The 4 engines are characterised by their powerful torque curve and are equipped with consumption-reducing BlueEFFICIENCY technology. The 55 kW version1 [Citan panel van 108 CDI with the BlueEFFICIENCY package in combination with a 5-speed manual transmission and commercial car registration (N1). Combined fuel consumption: 4.6–4.3 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 119–112 g/km.] [*] shines with exemplary consumption values in the segment comparison. The low fuel consumption rate also has a positive effect on the range: with a full 60-litre fuel tank the diesel engines – depending on the usage profile and driving style – manage up to 1,000 km and the petrol engine up to 800 km until the next refuelling stop.

* The stated figures were obtained in accordance with the prescribed measuring process. These are the "measured NEDC CO₂ values" according to Article 2, No. 2 of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1152. Fuel consumption values have been calculated on this basis. As a result of statutory changes to crucial test methods, higher figures may have been entered in the vehicle's certificate of conformity, a document relevant to vehicle registration and vehicle tax. The figures do not apply to a specific vehicle and do not form part of the product offer; they are provided solely for the purpose of comparing different vehicle models.

More information about the official fuel consumption and the official, specific CO₂ emissions of new passenger cars is available in the publication entitled "Leitfaden über den Kraftstoffverbrauch, die CO₂ Emissionen und den Stromverbrauch neuer Personenkraftwagen" ["Guidelines concerning the fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions and electricity consumption of new passenger cars"] available free of charge at all retailers and from Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (www.dat.de).
